Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by the state of U.S. politics? Are you frustrated by the barriers between political parties? Do you wonder how to engage with your representatives and be heard by your government?
If so, join YNPN for a panel discussion on how young professionals can lead and affect change in their communities. We will be joined by Rep. Adam Neylon (R) and Rep. Amanda Stuck (D), Co-Chairs of the Wisconsin Future Caucus (part of MAP, the Millennial Action Project). The Caucus seeks to foster bipartisan dialogue among young and innovative legislators committed to working on the issues facing Millennials and future generations.
Each group consists of members of the state legislature under 40 years of age. Future Caucus members are committed to working towards a culture of political cooperation. Working with lawmakers, MAP has advanced legislation on issues including entrepreneurship, technology, 21st century skills training, veterans' employment, immigration, volunteerism, and more – including the introduction of the first bipartisan legislation on ridesharing and social impact bonds.
